Juana Molina 'Un Dia' LP

Juana Molina 'Un Dia' LP
First time on vinyl, deluxe edition, includes colour inner sleeve + download code card.

Released in 2008, this outstanding album was never pressed on vinyl. It contains some of Juana Molina's most rhythmic pieces (including the epic title track), and saw her dig deeper into electronic textures. 'Un Dia' was Juana's final album for the Domino label.

Pitchfork decided that it was "as warm and welcoming as it is weird", All Music Guide calls it "As experimental as Bjork's but much more inviting". For Rolling Stone, this album is "her most adventurous, combining avant-garde vocals with the atmospherics of Portishead and My Bloody Valentine". And French music bible Les Inrockuptibles wrote: "A real album of trance music which, like with John Coltrane or Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, doesn't aim for a loss of consciousness but rather for reaching a higher level of knowledge."
