Written by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook when they were just 19 and 16 respectively, \u003cem\u003eTrixies\u003c\/em\u003e is a concept album born of imagination and nostalgia. Inspired by a fictional members' club dreamt up in the early \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e‘70\u003c\/span\u003es and imagined as existing in the \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e“\u003c\/span\u003efuture\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e” \u003c\/span\u003e(the \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e‘80\u003c\/span\u003es), the album channels a world reminiscent of a \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e‘20\u003c\/span\u003es or \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e‘30\u003c\/span\u003es speakeasy \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e– \u003c\/span\u003eglamourous, smoky, and populated by colourful characters. Although the album was demo-ed at the time it was never released, and only revisited decades later.
