Graham Coxon 'The Kiss Of Morning'

Originally released in 2002, this album presented an audible step up in his songwriting and arranging skills. 

'Baby You're Out Of My Mind's deft fingerpicking nodded to early Bob Dylan, 'Locked Doors' grooved along a loose R&B boogie, while 'It Ain't No Lie's pared-back riffs were cut from a similar cloth to then newly emerging duo The White Stripes. Less of a DIY affair than its predecessors the album features pedal steel player B.J. Cole and Louis Vause on keyboards, who helped to fully flesh out the eclectic fare on offer.
