Amongst the UK’s finest post-black metal bands, Ba’al now return with their second full length release, powerfully titled ‘The Fine Line Between Heaven and Here’. This epic masterpiece sees Ba’al fully immerse themselves in intensely personal themes of loss, suicide and despair, as well as the juxtaposition of the tragedy and depression of the urban environment whilst surrounded by the beauty of countryside and nature - hence the highly poignant album title.

‘The Fine Line Between Heaven and Here’ consists of tracks that are colossally vast in their breadth and depth, as well as carrying the listener through a kaleidoscope of emotions, colours and weightiness. This is, without doubt, their finest work to date.

‘The Fine Line Between Heaven and Here’ on transparent amber double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. The vinyl version contains two bonus ‘live in session’ tracks on the fourth side - ‘Grief Tourist’ and ‘Sepia Photograph’. These two tracks will be known to those who are familiar with Ba’al’s 2019 EP ‘Reverence’, and have been played live by the band over the years. Ba’al have recorded them live in their rehearsal space in a more current state and more in line with the tone and feel of their current sound.
