Ghost 'Seven Inches of Satanic Panic' 7"
Ghost 'Seven Inches of Satanic Panic' 7"
Limited purple vinyl.
Some things get better with age. Back during the summer of 1969, an up-and-coming band called Ghost, fronted by Papa Nihil, played its first date at The Whiskey A Go-Go on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. The show was to celebrate Ghost’s first release on Galaxy Recordings, “Seven Inches of Satanic Panic,” the double-A-side 7-inch single featuring “Kiss The Go Goat” and “Mary on A Cross.” To celebrate its 50th Anniversary, back in 2019, Ghost ordered a vinyl repressing for this rarity which sold out instantly. Fast forward 3 more years to 2022 and Ghost have a viral social media moment, bonafide streaming phenomenon, and a certified gold single with "Mary On A Cross". One that has captured a whole new generation of fans and drove the cultural zeitgeist for rock music during this last year. A moment that calls for a new 7" vinyl pressing, this time on special, never before released purple vinyl.
