Unwound 'Leaves Turn Inside You (25th Anniversary Edition)' 2xLP

Opaque ghost white vinyl.

Unwound closed the book on their catalogue with Leaves Turn Inside You, an album that still feels singular. Recorded in a moldering farmhouse basement at the turn of the century, it answers no-wave abrasion with a huge, immersive rush of sound.

Choppy guitar stabs, bridge scrapes, guttural bass thronk, thrift store synths and monotone chants drift across dense, suffocating rhythms. The result is a strange and brilliant collision: the world’s only choral grunge LP.

This 25th anniversary edition has been remastered from the original analog tapes and comes housed in a silver foil jacket with emboss, deboss, spot varnish and a replica 12x24” poster. Reinvented for you.
